AI visibility tool for citations and brand mentions

A Google position does not tell you whether an AI answer includes your brand. SearchTracking puts AI Overview citations, ChatGPT mentions, and Perplexity mentions beside classic rankings for the same tracked keywords. See whether you appear, where the mention occurs, and which competitors appear instead. Keep the daily observations in context as answers change, then share the findings with the people responsible for search visibility.

02

AI search visibility tool built around tracked keywords

Start with the keywords you already track for Google. SearchTracking turns each keyword selected for an AI check into a question about that topic. A question gives the AI check a specific subject, while its connection to the original keyword keeps the result beside the relevant Google row. You do not need a separate research list to connect the findings.

Keep questions tied to the intent you want to understand. A keyword about choosing a service leads to a question about that choice. The recorded answer then shows whether your brand participates in the discussion around that topic. Use the keyword tracker workflow to add terms, group related topics, and select location and device context for Google positions.

03

AI brand monitoring with separate evidence columns

The daily table keeps different forms of visibility separate. A citation links to a domain or page. A named mention records that a brand appears in the answer. Read those fields together without treating a brand name as proof of a link or a recommendation.

ColumnWhat the recorded check tells you
Keyword and questionConnects the topic being tracked with the question used for the AI check.
AI Overview citationShows whether Google cites your domain and which URLs are cited.
ChatGPT mentionShows whether the checked answer names your brand.
Perplexity mentionShows whether the checked answer names your brand.
Mention positionRecords where the brand occurs in the checked answer.
Competitors named insteadShows competing brands included when your brand is absent.

Google rankings remain alongside these observations. A position change and a mention change can happen independently. The AI Overview tracker explains the Google citation fields in more detail.

04

LLM visibility tracking that keeps each run in context

AI answers vary between runs. SearchTracking records whether your brand is named or your domain is cited in that day's check, together with the position of the mention. The observation describes that answer. It does not guarantee that another person receives the same answer or that every response includes the same sources.

Review a missing mention alongside previous checks before drawing a conclusion about a topic. A mention moving earlier in an answer also differs from a new citation appearing. A day without an AI check is different from a checked answer without your brand. Keep the platform columns separate so an appearance in Perplexity does not hide an absence in ChatGPT. This makes a report specific enough to discuss and cautious enough to use for decisions.

05

Brand visibility in AI search over time

AI mention share shows how often your brand appears across the checked keyword set over time. Read it with the underlying rows to identify the topics behind the movement. Classic visibility share reflects estimated clicks across tracked Google results and has its own history. The measures answer different questions and appear separately.

Use tags and groups to compare related topics. Keep the tracked set in view when reading a trend, because changing which topics receive checks changes the context of the share. Add a note to the chart when you revise important content or change the site, then review later observations against that context. CSV export helps carry the recorded results into a broader analysis.

06

Daily rank tracker alerts for lost AI mentions

An alert flags when a recorded AI mention disappears. Citation loss can also require attention even when the classic position holds steady. Email alerts and the daily digest give you a way to review changes without checking every keyword manually. Team and higher plans also include Slack alerts.

Open the relevant row to see the keyword, the platform involved, the mention position, and any competitors named instead. Review the history before deciding what to change. A single answer can vary, so treat the alert as a prompt to investigate the recorded check. Compare it with feature ownership and Google movement through the SERP tracker.

07

SEO ranking report software for AI and Google visibility

Scheduled PDF reports and live link reports bring AI observations into the same reporting workflow as Google positions. Include the platform context when explaining a change so readers know whether it concerns a citation, a named mention, or classic rankings. An explicit observation is more useful than a broad claim that the brand is visible everywhere.

Every subscription includes AI visibility with a monthly AI check allowance. Daily Google keyword capacity and monthly AI checks are separate limits. An answer recorded from a source uses an AI check even when your brand is absent. Each source counts separately. The project settings show those limits so you can choose which topics receive checks. Agency and Enterprise add white-label reports on your domain and API access. Review rank tracking software for the complete feature and plan comparison.

08

AI brand monitoring questions

Does an AI mention mean the answer links to my website?

No. A named brand mention and a domain citation are different observations. SearchTracking records them separately so you can see what the checked answer contains.

Are the same answers shown on every run?

No. AI answers vary between runs. SearchTracking records the mention or citation observed in that day's check and the position of the mention.

How do tracked keywords become AI questions?

SearchTracking turns keywords selected for AI checks into questions about the same topic. The result stays connected to the tracked keyword and its Google ranking row.

Does every tracked Google keyword receive an unlimited AI check?

No. Every plan includes AI visibility with a monthly AI check allowance. That allowance is separate from the number of keywords tracked daily in Google.
